Corrosion Soil Laboratory

A soil condition assessment is crucial to any thorough corrosion investigation. Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. (EDT) is licensed to receive soils for analysis from domestic and international clients alike. We also perform soil tests following both national and international industry standards. Our laboratory specializes in soil analysis for corrosion investigation surveys, but many of the tests can be conducted for general purposes or environmental assessments. Our geoscientists and corrosion technicians oversee the laboratory and ensure that the results of each soil test and report analysis comply with standards.

EDT conducts field work to collect the samples from the appropriate depths for any project across the country. However, if you are collecting the soil samples, please contact our soil lab to discuss appropriate collection and shipping procedures. Please fill out and enclose the Chain of Custody form before sending any soil samples to the lab.
