Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. (EDT) was involved in the Design-Build of the Healthfield Hospice located in Henry County, Georgia. This building is a one-story wood frame facility that includes 12 patient rooms, a reception area, three administrative offices, nurses’ stations, a medical room with laboratory, a nourishment room, ADA handicap bathrooms, a chapel and laundry facilities.
Categorized as a medical facility, the building was constructed with medical-grade electrical wiring, fire-approved HVAC, a fire sprinkler system and fire-rated walls and doors.
