Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. (EDT) provided engineering and on-site construction management administration services for the Nancy Creek Tunnel. The City of Atlanta, DeKalb and Fulton Counties agreed to work together to construct the Nancy Creek Storm & Sanitary Sewer Tunnel.
The Nancy Creek Tunnel is approximately 8.5 miles long and has an average depth between 110 and 300 feet. The majority of the tunnel is bored with two tunnel boring machines (TBMs) and will have a finished diameter of 16 feet.
