Skinner Development, Inc. | Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. (EDT) MPA (SD|EDT MPA) received a direct award as prime (with SD as lead) for the North Range Road Design-Build renovation and repair. The scope includes the full design and construction of a roadway to correct failed and failing asphalt pavement conditions. The work consisted of milling and overlay and full depth pavement repairs to approximately 3 miles of asphalt roadway located between 12th Avenue and Avenue of the States.
The repair work included demolition and removal of existing pavement, erosion control, milling and overlay, pavement markings, traffic signage, traffic control and other corrective actions. SD|EDT worked collaboratively with the Corps of Engineers and the Department of Public Works to provide innovative project alternatives as a betterment to initial project deliverables.
