The EDT Team provided architectural and engineering services for the new Satsuma Public Safety Building. This facility will house both the Satsuma Fire Department and the Satsuma Police Department under one roof. The EDT-THA architectural team designed a facility that will service both entities cost effectively. EDT met the needs of both entities and considered the safety of each person.
The Public Safety Building is divided by an engine bay with one side of the facility housing the fire department and provide dormitory rooms, office space, restroom, laundry and training. The other side of the facility houses the police department, providing 3 jail cells, dispatch area, office space and booking/holding area.
This 10,000 SF Public Safety Building will be a great addition to the City of Satsuma and their residents.
