The EDT Team provided Design-Build for The Phoenix Senior Living Facility on Union Hill Road in Cherokee County. The 172,000 SF facility includes units for memory care, assisted living and independent living to accommodate a total of 176 residents in the community, as well as administrative offices, care-related programs with medical personnel on-site and various amenities including a dining program. EDT also provided master planning, landscape design, geotechnical evaluation and Phase 1 Environmental reports.
Our team provided architecture and engineering services for these two and three-story buildings which offer many amenities for today’s seniors such as community dining, an interactive kitchen, bistros, a pub, library, theatre, salon and a therapy and fitness center. The residential units were designed to best accommodate the wishes and needs of the owners, their staff and of aging residents. The memory care wing offers resident studios, community living rooms and activity rooms. Assisted living residents are offered one and two-bedroom apartments complete with kitchenettes. Independent living residents are offered one and two-bedroom apartments with amenities including full-sized washers and dryers and full-sized kitchen appliances.
