Minimum qualifications include:
The successful candidate must be a self-starter, flexible, organized and attentive to detail. They must possess strong time management, writing and people skills and exercise independent judgment. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must possess a driver’s license and must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
Inspectors must have NASSCO (MACP, PACP and LACP) certifications. Compensation ($52,000 to $65,000 per year depending on qualifications and experience). Other benefits include vacation and sick time, 401K and health insurance.
