Summary
Detail-oriented CE&I Inspector to join our field operations team in Marietta, GA. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting construction sites and verifying that work is performed according to project plans, specifications and applicable codes and regulations.
You’ll serve as a key quality assurance representative on-site, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of compliance, safety and workmanship. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of construction practices, a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills to collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Perform field inspections to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes, and contract documents
Interpret and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation
Prepare detailed daily inspection reports, field notes, and photo documentation
Monitor construction progress and verify that materials and workmanship meet required standards
Identify deviations or non-compliant work and coordinate corrective actions with contractors and project managers
Participate in progress meetings and provide updates on construction status and field conditions
Maintain accurate and organized records of field activities, tests, and communications
Support quality control efforts and promote safety standards throughout project execution
Required Qualifications & Experience
GSWCC Certified
Proven experience in construction inspection, field engineering or a related discipline
Certifications such as NICET, ACI, GDOT, ATSSA or other DOT/industry-recognized credentials preferred
Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials and inspection procedures
Familiarity with applicable federal, state and local construction regulations
Proficient in using inspection tools, field equipment and basic reporting software (e.g., Site Manager, MS Office)
Excellent communication, problem-solving and time-management skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment and make sound judgments on-site
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
