ATLANTA, GA. — EDT Inc announces today that Dean Brantly has joined the EDT team as a Vice President of Construction. Previously, Dean held the role of Executive IT Specialist and Senior Construction Manager at IBM Global Technology Services.
Dean Brantly has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with over 30 years experience in the fields of Commercial/Retail Construction, Strategic Procurement, Consulting, Engineering, Design and Construction Management, CRE, RE Acquisition, Development & Mgmt., Mission Critical (IT) Data Centers, DAS, PON, AV, Command Centers, Sports Venues, Physical Security, Broadcast, Facilities Operations/Management/Maintenance; Commercial/Retail Construction, Strategic Procurement, Consulting, Engineering, Design and Construction Management.
Mr. Brantly has also been responsible for budget development, design, site development, construction management, scheduling, project buyout, commissioning and complete financial management of projects totaling in excess of $3 Billion including high tech automated manufacturing / production/ warehousing / distribution facilities, mission critical (data center) facilities, FTTx, Cabling, DAS, PON, AV, DVS, Class A,B&C office space, retail, commercial, medical, market rate apartments, student housing and residential homes through CM @Fee, CM @ Risk, GC and self-perform models.
As a Vice President in EDT’s Construction Practice, he brings extensive experience in MEP mission critical (data center) systems, cleanroom environments, tool installation, inert gas systems, RODI/WFI water plants, process systems, central utility plants, industrial waste treatment, material handling equipment, security systems, electrical/mechanical systems, medical equipment, automated production, packaging and shipping equipment. Additionally he has supervised safety systems and programs, due diligence processes, furniture systems and personnel management, strategic procurement and cost savings solutions.
