Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
Minimum of two years accounting experience required – Will be working with joint venture, mentor/protégé and construction-related projects
Working knowledge of Excel and Word – experience with Timberline accounting system preferred
Self-starter and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and also within a team to build relationships and interact with business partners
Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload to meet management needs

Responsibilities:

Assists with Accounts Payable and Receivable – recording/paying vendor invoices; customer billing/cash receipts
Preparation of daily remote deposits
Assists with preparation of financial statements and budgets, and assist with month-end closing of multiple companies
Preparation of supporting work papers for all balance sheet accounts
Assist with annual tax return preparation and financial audit
Assist with additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Corporate Controller
Adhere to strict confidentiality policies due to the nature of financial data
